    Pentwater is a charming lakeshore Village on the fringes of the dunes, located 14 miles south of Ludington. It is a pleasurable destination stopover for cruisers, and an ideal spot in which to be "weathered in". The entrance is straight and well-lighted; the channel is lined on either side by sandy swimming beached. Once inside you'll have several great Marinas portside, to choose from, all located conveniently on the fringes of the downtown area.
